Dirt To Dine Adventure Camp
The ultimate kid adventure, Dirt to Dine Adventure Camp is the place to learn about where your food comes from. Why we love Dirt to Dine Adventure Camp is because kids really get to be involved in the farm. From feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs to watering the garden we learned all about how a farm works.
The amazing adventure is kids really get to pick and collect all their fresh farm ingredients and walk them up to the table. Now that’s farm to table! The tasty creative side of this camp is cooking with the ingredients we collected. The inspiring chefs teach the kids to make anything from pasta to soups, and we even made savory french toast. Even the grown-ups wished they could have stayed all day after they tasted our beautiful farm fresh food.
This camp is a collaboration between Napa Valley Chef & Cooking Channel TV host Michael Chiarello and his wife, Eileen Gordon Chiarello, and the Connolly Ranch in Napa Valley, California. If your in the Napa Valley or Sonoma County area check it out and if you live anywhere else look for a similar program in your area. Learning where your food comes from can create a lifetime of healthy eating!
